About the project

The Feminist View is an independent website created by an Ohio State student for the Gender, Sex, and Power course. The purpose of this website is to re-examine what feminism is, along with intersectional topics.

My origins in Columbus, Ohio

My formal education on feminism began with this course. Before then, I fell for or went along with many of the typical or unhelpful stereotypes surrounding progressive movements. This course has deepened my understanding of many topics, and I hope this website can do the same for others.

“Feminism is not just about women; it’s about letting all people lead fuller lives.”
